Projects
In fall quarter of 2017 I took a studio class that allows students to do real client-based planning projects. I worked for the City of Mukilteo with one other student to synthesize the city's Comprehensive plan and other planning documents to create these six issue papers. We worked on creating the content of the issue papers together, although I was assigned to write the housing, capital facilities and environmental protection topics. I was also in charge of formatting the issue papers into a professional and aesthetically appealing document using Adobe InDesign.
VideosOne of my biggest projects as CEP Communication Point was helping to produce an educational and promotional video about CEP to engage the public and increase outreach. Feel free to check it out by clicking the button on the left!
Another video I helped produce in CEP was for UW Livable City Year partnered with the City of Tacoma. I worked in a group with three other CEP students to develop a short informational video that presents a profile of Tacoma's Planning and Development Services (PDS) department.

Below is the design portfolio I created as a final for the Digital Design Practicum class I took Spring quarter of 2017. In this course, we studying the Pike/Pine Conservation Overlay District (PPCOD) in Capitol Hill while learning the urban planning applications of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, ArcGIS and SketchUp.

The Digital Design Practicum class also assigned the task of creating a dust cover for a book about the PPCOD. Although I did not include mine in my portfolio, I've posted it below.

Below are a few examples of printed promotional material I designed within the CEP Communication Committee.
